PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas suction device 2 which is equipped with a gas flow channel 3 through which gas G flows and constituted so that a pump 6 for introducing the gas G into the gas flow channel 3 through the inlet thereof and a flow rate meter 5 for detecting the flow rate of the gas flowing through the gas flow channel 3 are provided to the gas flow channel 3, and a gas detector 1 equipped with the gas suction device 2, for driving the pump 6 in an always preferable state, and for detecting the clogged state of a gas filter 4 to prevent the damage of the pump 6 and a gas detection sensor 7. SOLUTION: An output 9 for outputting a detected flow rate as a flow rate signal is provided to the flow rate meter 5. A flow rate keeping means 67 for setting the output of the pump 6 on the basis f the flow rate signal outputted from the output part 9 to keep the flow rate of the gas flowing through the gas flow channel 3 is provided. A clogged state state data output means 11 for outputting the clogged state data of the gas flow channel 3 corresponding to the output of the pump 6 set by the flow rate keeping means 67a is provided.
