PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance energy efficiency in a gas absorbing/discharging device and further enhance operation efficiency of the device. SOLUTION: A pair of gas absorbing/discharging substance containers 1 and 2 symmetrically absorbing and discharging gas by being heated and cooled by a heating device 5 and a cooling device 6 are connected with each other by a gas communication passage 26. The gas communication passage 26 can be opened and closed by an on-off valve 25. When gas absorption and discharge of the containers 1 and 2 are switched, the two containers are temporarily connected with each other by the communication passage 26 so as to transfer the gas from a high pressure side to a low pressure side. Thus, energy can effectively collected through transfer of the gas in a short time. A pump or the like for transferring the heating medium as in the case of sensible heat collection in the prior arts is no more required and equipment cost and running cost are reduced. |
