METHOD AND CIRCUIT FOR READING SIGNALS FROM IMAGE PICKUP ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and circuit for reading signals from an image pickup element that can revise a resolution of an image pickup output as required by external control, and that can suppress production of a false signal even when the resolution is revised, and also can revise an output frame rate. SOLUTION: Current read from photo diodes PD and outputted on vertical read lines E and/or horizontal read lines are mixed and outputted to the outside of the image pickup element.
