PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reflecting a radio wave used in an inter- vehicle sensing radar selectively when reflective properties of an ITS are required, and an automobile and its window material where other radio waves pass in bilateral direction and communication with the outside or reception of public broadcast can be allowed. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave reflecting material comprises metal wire elements of a specified length corresponding to the frequency of a radio wave to be shielded arranged on a basic material. When an electromagnetic wave reflecting material having a length equal to about one half the wavelength between the open ends thereof or an annular electromagnetic wave reflecting material having a circumferential length substantially equal to the wavelength is superposed on the metal wire elements, more than one kind of frequency can be shielded.
