PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase junction strength between a magnetic core and a support rod through frictional pressure, and simplify adjustment for sensitivity. SOLUTION: Utilizing the fact, that at frictionally pressing of a support rod against a magnetic core, change in upset pressure causes change in the length of the magnetic core and thus a change in the magnetic characteristics of the core, a differential transformer is manufactured by combining the core frictionally pressed against the support rod at the upset pressure which is selected according to sensitivity errors due to the windings of coils of the transformer with the coils.
