摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic processing device with which exposure is carried out, without the occurrence of exposure unevenness during exposure in spite of whatever to lengths of photographic paper P may be. SOLUTION: A transporting mechanism of the photographic processing device, having an exposure section and a transport mechanism disposed an exposure section discharge side has guide members which guide the photosensitive materials discharged from the exposure section along transport routes and transport roller pairs, which are disposed in a plurality along the guide members and grasp and transport the photosensitive materials. The transport roller pairs, existing on the upstream side of the transporting routes among the transporting roller pairs, are made operative to be brought into pressurized contact or to be parted. When the overall length of the photosensitive materials is smaller than a reference length, the photosensitive materials are grasped by the transport roller pairs after the exposure. When this length is longer than the reference length, the transfer speed of the transport roller pair from the parting position to the pressurized contact position is set at about the speed, at which the fluctuations of the load on the photosensitive materials are prevented. The pressurized contact and parting operations of the transport roller pair are controlled, in such a manner that the photosensitive materials are transported by bringing the transport roller pairs into pressurized contact therewith, while the photosensitive materials are shifted from the parting position to the pressurized contact position.
