PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an AC generator for vehicles which facilitates automation of its assembly, suppresses generation of heat, improves its cooling capability, and enhances the reliability. SOLUTION: In a stator 8, a plurality of lead wises which form output lead- out ends a1, a2, b1, b2, c1, c2, and connecting lead-out ends Na1, Na2, Nb1, Nb2, Nc1, Nc2 are led out approximately in parallel to the axial direction of the stator core 15. The connecting parts Na1, Na2, Nb1, Nb2, Nc1, Nc2 are connected to a trunk connection member 30 arranged on an axial side surface of the stator 8 being another body from a 12, so that stator coils 16 become in a specified connected state. AC outputs are outputted from the outputting parts a1, a2, b1, b2, c1, c2, and they are connected to the rectifier 12.
