PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of easily preparing a change and addition in the design and printing of a document. SOLUTION: This document preparation system comprises (1) a document design generating function having a means for outputting document definition information, (2) a print control form generating function having an input generating function of performing the formation and default set of an input form on the basis of the document definition information, an input check processing means for checking an input data, a printer set information operating means for performing the selection and set of a printer, a means for calling a document output module to perform a preview or test print, and a means for screen- displaying print control information. When an execution parameter has a print definition information designation, to renew or newly register it, and (3) a document output module function having a means for reading the data of a database on the basis of the document definition information and the print control information and performing a print output, while assigning it to a document format and a preview means for performing a screen output. This system is characterized, by independently separating these three functions as modules, to perform the formation and printing of a document. |
