PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve of a variable displacement type compressor capable of enhancing a controllability and a responsiveness of a discharge quantity. SOLUTION: A valve element 43 adjusts an opening of an air feed passage 28 corresponding to a position in a valve chest 46. A pressure sensitive member 54 is displaced corresponding to a differential pressure PdH-PdL of two pressure monitoring points P1, P2 set in a cooling medium circulation circuit. This displacement is reflected to a positioning of the valve element 43 such that the discharge quantity of the compressor is changed so as to deny a fluctuation of the differential pressure PdH-PdL. A solenoid part 60 can change a set differential pressure being a standard of a positioning action of the valve element 43 by the pressure sensitive member 54 by changing a force imparted to the pressure sensitive member 54.
