<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact type measuring method and apparatus for physical properties allowing measurement of the physical properties of the subject of measurement in a certain position without making contact. SOLUTION: The measuring apparatus applies light to the subject of measurement M and obtains a light detection signal by detecting, using a light detecting portion 2, the light transmitted through the subject of measurement M; thereafter, the signal processing part 5b of a physical property determining portion 5 determines measurements from the light detection signal while referencing a correlation between the light detection signal and the physical properties of the subject M of measurement, which is prestored in a correlation memory part 5a. That is, because measurements are taken from the subject of measurement M by simply applying the light and detecting the light transmitted, the physical properties can be measured in a certain position completely out of contact with the subject of measurement M.</p> |
