<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent two magnetic cards or two credit cards (IC cards) from being inserted from a card insertion port simultaneously. SOLUTION: This card processing device comprises a judging means judging the classification of an insertion medium inserted from the card insertion port, an interval setting mechanism provided in the middle of a conveyance path conveying the insertion medium inserted into the card insertion port and selectively setting the conveyance interval of the conveyance path to a size allowing the transit of a magnetic card or a size allowing the transit of a credit card or an IC card, and a control means setting the conveyance interval to the size allowing the transit of a magnetic card when the insertion medium is judged as the magnetic card and setting the conveyance interval to the size allowing the transit of a credit card or an IC card when the insertion medium is judged as the credit card or the IC card.</p> |
