PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an ice thermal storage unit so that ice can be produced efficiently and refrigeration cycle can be operated stably. SOLUTION: In an ice thermal storage unit for making ice by supplying refrigerant to an evaporation coil arranged in a thermal storage tank and supplying water to the outside of the coil or storing water stationarily, the evaporation coil is constituted by arranging a plurality of flat spiral coils, each having a refrigerant inlet at the outermost circumference and a refrigerant outlet in the center, in multistage in the thermal storage tank, and each coil is inclined slowly downward from the outer circumference toward the central part. |
