摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy, simplify data processing, and achieve compactness. SOLUTION: The device for measuring the surface shape of a moving body is provided with a plurality of distance detecting sensors 1 arranged at regular distances from a location through which a body to be measured 2 is passed and arranged at regular intervals in the approximate same linear line as the direction which intersects the direction of movement of the body to be measured 2 at approximately right angles to irradiate the body to be measured 2 with light such as laser light, receive the reflected light, and measure the distances from the body to be measured 2. In the measuring device, the surface shape of the body to be measured 2 while moving/halting is measured by performing relative comparison on the distance data measured by each distance detecting sensor 1. Sensor groups 4 and 5 comprised of the plurality of distance detecting sensors 1 arranged at the regular intervals in the approximately same linear line are arranged at locations which the sensor main bodies do not interfere with one another so that the sensors 1 adjacent to each other are opposed to each other are opposed to each other and that light is projected through the gaps between the sensor main bodies of the opposed sensor groups 4 and 5. The sensor groups 4 and 5 are matched and arranged in such a way that the measuring locations of the opposed sensor groups 4 and 5 are arranged in the approximately same linear line.
