PURPOSE: A resonant inverter type X-ray high voltage device is provided to stably control an input voltage variation of a resonant inverter and a variation of an output voltage by detecting a voltage applied to the resonant inverter and a pipe voltage applied to an X-ray pipe and controlling a phase of an inverter. CONSTITUTION: An input rectifier(31) converts an alternating current voltage into a direct current voltage. A resonant inverter(32) converts the direct current voltage into an alternating current of a high frequency. A high voltage transformer(33) boosts an output voltage of the resonant inverter(32). An output rectifier(34) rectifies a voltage outputted from the high voltage transformer(33). A comparator(39) compares a pipe voltage applied to an X-ray pipe with a set pipe voltage. A comparator(40) compares an output of the comparator(39) with an output of a multiplier(38). A phase difference signal generator(41) receives an output of the comparator(40) and an output of a frequency generator(37), and generates a phase difference signal. A drive circuit(42) drives the resonant inverter(32).
