A curtain and a band-like core material therefore, wherein a natural and permanent drapes (pleat) are applied to a curtain cloth without pleating nor fold-forming. A band-like core material, formed by imparting wave forms by heating to a band cloth material formed of thermosetting synthetic fibers, is attached to the lower edge of a curtain cloth over the almost entire width. The wave forms of the band-like core material can almost permanently form beautiful drapes in the longitudinal direction of the curtain cloth when the curtain is unfolded or folded. When the curtain is to be washed, the band-like core material is detached from the curtain cloth, and after washed, it is attached again to the curtain cloth. |
