PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of efficiently performing inputted characters are discriminated by luminance image analysis based on distance information. SOLUTION: Three-dimensional measurement is performed by pattern projection on the state of characters written on a manuscript, a white board, etc., to perform distance measurement to capture a luminance image, which is what is called a real image, in parallel with an image for distance measurement, and the inputted characters are discriminated by the luminance image analysis based on the distance information. The images of the characters, patterns, etc., written on paper, etc., with a pen are picked up, and the picked-up images are geometrically converted to obtain natural analysis on the inputted characters and read processing. In addition, it is possible to filter out noise and modify the location of the manuscript comparing the images captured in time sequence. |
