PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To approve an electronic document even when an approver is absent. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a means allowing an approval requester to designate the approver or a substitute approver of the electronic document, a means allowing the substitute approver to approve the electronic document when the approver is absent from a terminal and the substitute approver is present at a terminal, a means allowing the approver to approve the electronic document when the approver is present at the terminal, a means confirming presence/absence of the approver and the substitute approver to the terminals by sending a ping command to IP addresses of the terminals logged on by the approver and the substitute approver, and a means sending an E mail of an approval request to the one who is to approve. |
