<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device which can attain the compatibility of improvement in cleanability with improvement in the life of an electrophotographic photoreceptor and can realize an image formation with high image quality and high stability without complicating the device. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor of the electrophotographic device having the electrostatic type electrophotographic photoreceptor and a cleaning means has a photosensitive layer and a surface protective layer on a conductive substrate. The surface protective layer has 20.0 to 40.0 mass% fluorine atom-containing resin particles. Its surface roughness is 0.1 to 5.0μm in ten-point mean roughness, its surface hardness is 0.1 to 4.5 in Taber abrasion test method and its surface friction coefficient is 0.001 to 1.2. The linear pressure of the elastic blade of the cleaning means to the electrophotographic photoreceptor is 17.5 to 27.5 g/cm and the rubber hardness of the elastic blade is 75 to 85 deg. (JIS-A).
