PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a conventional substrate and heat resistance relating to it which are found typically in a module by arranging electric contacts on one side or both sides of a thermoelectric module, so as to make heat contact directly with a heat source or a heat sink or thermally changed material (that is, heated or cooled). SOLUTION: In an embodiment, contacts penetrate a conduit carrying material to be heated and cooled. In the conduit, conductive material can be formed in an effective heat conduction form like a blade which stretches penetrating a non-conductive conduit wall. In another embodiment, a geometrical configuration of conductor for forming the electric contacts form a pipe or a tube, through which the material to be heated and cooled passes. In application wherein electrolytic solution or ion solution is sent by the contacts, a protective layer having high thermal conductivity can be added to a conduction surface in order to prevent corrosion or short-circuiting of equipment.
