PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a homogenizing bag of a new constitution, capable of securing a sufficient capacity in a sample housing part and smoothly performing works, such as injection and pipetting of food samples. SOLUTION: The homogenizing bag 1 is used for housing the food samples having a diluent and performing homogenizing processes. A filter 5 for partitioning the internal space of a bag body 2 into a large space part 3 and a small space part 4 for housing the food samples is provided over the approximately overall length, extending from the open upper end 2c to the closed lower end 2d of the bag body. Food residues after the homogenizing processes remain in the large space part, and a suspension is passed through the filter and housed in the small space part. In the filter, one side edge 5b extended in the longitudinal direction of the filter is glued to one inner side surface of the bag body at the approximate center of bag body in the width direction, and the other side edge 5a is the longitudinal direction is glued integrally, in a state sandwiched in one corresponding side edge part 2a among both side edges extended in the longitudinal direction of the bag. The filter is glued over a required length from the open upper end of the bag body at a location 5c close to the other side edge of the filter in the longitudinal direction to a mid point which does not reach the closed lower end.
