PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush seal device capable of preventing a drafty state at a parting surface, and securing a sealing function at a parted part. SOLUTION: In this brush seal device provided with a seal ring comprising plural segments 7 as parted in a circumferential direction, on an end surface in the circumferential direction of the segment 7, a brush 9 is provided to be extended toward an end surface of the other segment 7 facing above end surface. The circumferential length of the brush 9 is set so that the end surface of the other segment 7 facing it keeps a contact state with a tip of the brush 9, and a circumferential gap between the segments 7 is closed with the brush 9. |
