PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system which distributes a required information with no special operation. SOLUTION: An information distribution system is provided which comprises an information transmission device 1 installed in each shop, and a portable terminal 2 which receives the information distributed by the information transmission device 1 near a shop, for distribution of an information content between the information transmission device 1 and the portable terminal 2 with a low- power short-distance bidirectional wireless communication. Here, before distribution of the information content is conducted, the information transmission device 1 transmits a discrimination signal, and the portable terminal 2 receives the information content distributed by the information transmission device 1, only when the received discrimination signal matches with a discrimination signal registered in the portable terminal 2, in advance. |
