PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet stool which prevents overflow of water from a bowl portion due to clogging of a drain system. SOLUTION: A front edge of a toilet stool box main body 42 slightly juts toward the bowl portion 52 of the Western-style toilet stool 12, and a water level sensor 54 for detecting the water level in the bowl portion 52 is arranged on a lower surface of a jutting portion. When the drain system is clogged and the water level in the bowl portion 52 exceeds a normal upper limit value, a control circuit 56 activates an alarm 58, and at the same time an electric motor device 34 is controlled to close its valve when water is discharged into the bowl portion by the electric motor device 34.
