PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction stone which can easily stack natural stones and construct a stable and firm civil engineering structure even when the natural stones are thus stacked. SOLUTION: The construction stone 1 for civil engineering structure is prepared, in which a base end part 4a of a bar-like member 4 is connected to the natural stone 2, a male screw 6 is formed in a tip part 4b of the bar-like member 4, and a washer 7 is screwed in the male screw 6. The natural stones 2 are successively stacked by using a plurality of construction stones 1 for civil engineering structure, and the bar-like members 4 are arranged substantially parallel to each other, and the bar-like members 4 are buried by crushed stones 13, etc., to ensure a large friction force (engagement force) based on the crushed stones 13, etc., and the washers 7, etc.
