PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an editor in which a user can edit a document while looking at identifier names other than an alphabet on a display screen even when the identifier names other than the alphabet can not be used in a text processing system such as a program language as an object and also to realize the editor that displays a selection menu defined among many identifiers, performs input assistance and has a function that moves to the edition environment of a partial area of the document without performing character string retrieval regardless of the specification of the text processing system as an object. SOLUTION: The document consists of the part of a static character string and dynamic identifier information. Thus, a diagram shows how a first problem is solved. An identifier can have two names being an image display name 801 and a file output name 802, when identifier mixed text data 602 are prepared, a Japanese identifier appears on image display 603, and meanwhile, a source program that can be compiled by a complier that allows only alphameric characters is generated like a file output 604.
