COOLING WATER COOLER AND ITS CLEANING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean water at any time including the operating time. SOLUTION: During operation for cooling the cooling water in a plant through cooling pipes 10d and 10e by introducing sea water from a sea water inlet pipe 8, fresh water injection valves 16a and 16b are opened to inject fresh water from fresh water injection pipes 15a and 15b into a sea water inlet water chamber 10a and a water return water chamber 10b thus removing ocean products adhering to a cooling water cooler 10 or deposited therein. Subsequently, a discharge valve 14 is opened and ocean products and foreign matters in the cooling water cooler 10 are discharged from a discharge pipe 13 and a sea water outlet pipe 11.
