<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device for preventing interference of an electromotive force generated in cutting off conduction of two coils for opening a valve or holding from causing disconnection misdiagnosis of the coil for holding, in an injector having the two coils. SOLUTION: This engine control device comprises a sensor group for detecting an operation state of an engine, a calculating device (CPU) for calculating at least a fuel injection amount supplied to an engine based on a signal from the sensor group for detecting the operation state of the engine, a fuel injection valve (injector) having two coils for opening the valve or holding, and a means for driving the coils for opening the valve or holding. A means for detecting an operation of the coil for holding is provided, and is masked when conduction cut-off timing of the coil for holding occurs during occurrence of the electromotive force occurring in cutting off conduction of the coil for opening the valve.</p> |
