PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-sensitivity, high-resolution, and a compact image sensor. SOLUTION: Blue-color components of the light incident to the image sensor are absorbed by a photoelectric transfer film 21B. By applying voltage between electrodes 22B-1 and 22B-2 which hold the photoelectric transfer film 21B in between, optical charges are generated. Then, the optical charges are transferred into accumulation diodes 25B-1 and 25B-2 through conductors 24B-1 and 24B-2, respectively. In like manner, green-color components and red-color components are transferred into accumulation diodes 25G-1 and 25G-2, and 25R-1 and 25R-2, respectively.
