摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and to reduce optical loss by simplifying assembling operations of a hybrid connector and also stabilizing the position of an optical element module. SOLUTION: The hybrid connector 1 is assembling through a first, second and third assembling processes. In the first assembling process, sleeves 7 are temporarily inserted into the middle of the receiving cylinders 19 of the housing 2. In the second assembling process, the sleeves 7 are further inserted into the receiving cylinders 19 by the thrusting of the optical element modules 8, 9. The sleeves 7 become a main insertion state with respect to the receiving cylinders 19, and projections 35 are engaged with a recess. In the third assembling process, the optical element modules 8, 9 are held by using a shield case 10. The shield case 10 is engaged with the receiving cylinders 19, thereby fixing the position of the optical element modules 8, 9.
