摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional high frequency transmission apparatus transmitting a high frequency signal such as microwave signal and a millimeter wave with a distortion compensating function that has complicated the adjustment and much increase the cost because a distortion compensation circuit for low distortion is configured for a high frequency band. SOLUTION: A branch section 110 branches an electric signal into two, a first optical transmission section 111 converts the one electric signal into an optical signal and a first coupler 112 branches the optical signal into two. A first photoelectric conversion section 114 convert the one of two optical signals branched by the first coupler 112 into an electric signal. A distortion component is extracted as a difference component between the electric signal and the other electric signal branched by the branch section 110 and a second optical transmission section 116 inverts the phase of the distortion component and converts the result into an optical signal. An optical delay adjustment section 113 delays the other optical signal branched by the first photocoupler 112 by a prescribed time, and a second coupler 117 synthesizes the delayed optical signal with the optical signal outputted from the second optical transmission section 116.
