PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where the film thickness dependency of the potential of the exposure part of a photoreceptor is suppressed into a small range, and the photoreceptor is made usable without installing a complicated means such as a means for correcting the exposure amount, and without causing the substantial reduction of image density in a wide film thickness range and toner consumption is saved in the case of measuring the toner consumption by the fixed image density. SOLUTION: The main electrification potential Vo of the photoreceptor, a photoreceptor exposure part potential Vr and a developing bias potential DB are defined by V1<=|DB-Vr|<=V2 (expression 1), and V3<=|Vo-DB|<=300 (expression 2). In the expressions, V1, V2 and V3 represent parameters calculated from a developing characteristic curve obtained by plotting the image density with reference to a potential difference between the developing bias potential and the photoreceptor surface potential (0 V) in the case of forming the image without exposure while keeping the potential of the photoreceptor surface zero and changing the developing bias. |
