PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming an image of high quality by suppressing a registration error caused by the load fluctuation with reference to a transfer medium. SOLUTION: A rotary driving force from an electric motor 70 is transmitted to the rotary shaft of a photoreceptor 21 and the rotary shaft of a driving roller 43 for rotary-driving an intermediate transfer belt 41 through a power transmission mechanism. In this power transmission mechanism, the 1st helical gear 61 is arranged on the rotary shaft of the photoreceptor 21, and also, the 2nd helical gear 62 is arranged on the rotary shaft of the driving roller 43. The gears 61 and 62 have rigidity higher than that of a gear molded of only acetal resin, and hence the deformation and distortion of the gears are suppressed, and the registration error caused by the load fluctuation with reference to the intermediate transfer belt 41 is suppressed. |
