PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonance power supply with high converting efficiency even at small output and a power converting method therewith. SOLUTION: A resonance power supply includes a switching element 2 on the primary side of a transformer 1 and transmitting predetermined electric power from the primary side of the transformer 1 to the secondary side by ON - OFF operations of the switching element 2. The cycle of a power transfer pulse based on the ON - OFF operations of the switching element 2 is made changeable.
