SOLUTION: As for the developing device, an oscillating field is formed between a developer carrier and a contact type electrifying member so as to electrify the developer on the developer carrier, the linear velocity of the developer carrier is controlled to be >=200 mm/sec, and also, the volumetric mean electrified quantity Q2 (μC/g) of the developer electrified by the contact type electrifying member with reference to the volumetric mean electrified quantity Q1 (μC/g) of the developer after forming the layer by the developer control member is controlled so as to establish Q2=(0.5 to 0.9) Q1.</p> |
