PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversation aid which is capable of assisting an orally handicapped person to easily make conversation in various places. SOLUTION: This conversation aid is formed by piercing plural holes 3 at a planar body 2 and displaying prescribed characters 5 by each of the holes 3 on the front and rear surfaces 2a of the planar body 2. The characters 5 of the front and rear surfaces 2a corresponding to one hole 3 consist of the same characters or the characters having the same meaning.
