PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display, having improved display quality and productivity by suppressing static electricity which occurs in divided display areas and causing display failure. SOLUTION: The end parts of a display electrode substrate 9 for data signals are provided with 1st and 2nd COF 4, 6 for respectively driving 1st and 2nd division display areas 7, 8, and the ground terminals 14, 15 of the COF 4, 6 are connected mutually via a ground electrode 13, arranged on the display electrode substrate 9 for data signals.
