PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed contents download device capable of reducing a contents download time at a shop for shortening a waiting time of a purchaser at the shop in digital contents rental/sales system. SOLUTION: In this sales system, the contents are downloaded to a portable storage medium 101 by means of a drive device 202 provided in a shop server 303 for lending/selling the digitalized contents. The drive device 202 uses a head positioning mechanism with higher precision than a mechanism of a player 102 on the purchaser home side, and the number of revolutions of the storage medium is increased above that of the player 102. |
