PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless system adopting a transmission selection diversity method where a base station unit performs CDMA wireless communication adopting a common mid-amble for a known signal with a wireless communication terminal provided with an MUD(Multi User Detection). SOLUTION: A symbol power calculation unit 150 receives a signal sent from a base station unit 101 provided with antenna branches to conduct the transmission selection diversity and calculates the symbol power of all codes other than a code assigned to itself by each antenna branch, a code number detection section 208 references a known signal included in the received signal to detect the number of interference codes by each antenna branch, and an interference code selection section 209 references the calculated symbol power to select the interference codes whose number is equal to the detected number of the interference codes by each antenna branch, and an MUD 210 eliminates the interference by a selected interference station through its interference cancellation processing.
