<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process controller which can suppress the detection of transmission abnormality of an input/output device due to signals differing in the transmission rate without altering hardware itself having a mechanism for detecting the transmission abnormality. SOLUTION: The process controller performs transmission by controlling input/output devices 11 (111, 112...) corresponding to different transmission rates with a single controller 10; and the controller 10 requests data from the individual input/output devices 11 at the transmission rates which can be used by the respective input/output devices to receive response data at the transmission rates and sends an abnormality suppression signal at a different transmission rate to other input/output devices 11. Consequently, the detection of transmission abnormality of the input/output devices 11 is suppressed.</p> |
