<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a space and the number of parts by eliminating the need of fixing gears supported on the shafts of a transmission axially with nuts and bolts. SOLUTION: A sub-shaft Ss2 is supported on casings 11 and 12 through bearings 20, 21, and 69, and an input gear 34, an output gear 46, and the boss part 45a of a clutch outer 45 are stacked on the sub-shaft Ss2 and locked with a cotter 67. The input gear 34 and the output gear 46 are formed of a helical type, and a thrust forces received by both gears 34 and 46 are allowed to act in such directions that the gears are separated from each other. The right side thrust force f1 acting on the input gear 34 is supported by the easing 11 through an annular projection 61, sub-shaft Ss2, and bearing 20. The left thrust force f2 acting on the output gear 46 having a clearance thereof from the cotter 67 is supported by the easing 12 through the bearing 69 installed on the side face thereof.</p> |
