PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wall construction for externally insulated wall construction capable of providing an energy saving effect for an externally insulated concrete building throughout a year even in a warm region where the outside air has a relatively high temperature in summer. SOLUTION: An insulating member 12 is arranged by tightly adhering to the exterior wall surface of a concrete building frame 11, backing members 15 arranged along the exterior side surface of the insulating members 12 is supported by mounting fittings 16 attached to the exterior wall surface of the concrete building frame 11, and exterior finish members are fixed to the backing members 15, and a thin radiation heat interrupting sheet 13 having many small holes 14 is adhered to the exterior side surface of the insulating members 12 as a feature in the exterior wall construction of the externally insulated concrete building fixed with the exterior finish members to the backing members.
