PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying device and an electrophotographic device where a stable image can be obtained over a long period of time in the electrophotographic device utilizing a magnetic brush electrifying device. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic device, a magnetic brush electrifying device 11 is constituted to be provided with a conductive sleeve 16 that is provided with a magnetic roll and installed to be freely rotated and a magnetic brush electrifying member provided with magnetic particles 15 forming the magnetic brush by being carried on a surface of a conductive sleeve 16 and a metallic soap member 20 containing metallic soap and installed in a position where the metallic soap is brought into contact with the magnetic brush and this is mounted on the electrophotographic device.
