PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card having a stuck magnetic tape carrying a large quantity of data and drivable by a CD-ROM drive. SOLUTION: This portable information storage medium is provided with a first face storing at least one of computer readable data and programs and a second face, in a part of which a stripe-shaped area storing data read by means of a reading-only machine is formed. In the first face, at least a program necessary for connecting to a communication network is stored, while data necessary for electronic settlement are stored in the second face. |
