PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printed matter with speech codes which may be easily utilized by a person not mastering the conversation of a foreign language with good operability when carrying out the conversation. SOLUTION: The printed matter 30 with speech codes utilizable for the conversation of the foreign language comprises a character printing section 31 which is printed with the characters expressed by Japanese and speech code printing sections 32 which are printed with the speech when the characters interpreted to English are read out as optically readable codes.
