<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in electrophotographic characteristics and durability which forms high-definition images without contaminating the back of the image, which hardly contaminates a fixing device or the like and which shows excellent fixing property even on quick starting. SOLUTION: The toner is used in the image forming method winch uses (1) a magnetic field generating means, (2) a rotary heating member having at least a heat generating layer which generates heat by electromagnetic induction and a release layer, and (3) a heating and pressurizing means having at least a rotary pressing member which a nip with the rotary heating member, and in which a toner image on a recording material is fixed by heating and pressurizing to form a fixed image on the recording material while the rotary pressurizing member is pressed through the recording member to the rotary heating member. The toner contains at least binder resin and carbon black having 10 to 50 nm primary particle size. The average circularity of the toner is >=0.960.</p> |
