PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aim for saving a water rate by displaying a water usage amount from a previous inspection of a meter to the present, that is, a present usage amount at a user's kitchen and simply installing a display device. SOLUTION: A water usage amount display system inputs a needle value at the previous inspection time of the needle and a basic usage amount by an operation unit 6. An input value is stored in a controller 7. The unit 6 is operated to instruct a present usage amount display. The controller 7 reads the present needle value of an electronic water meter 1 via radio transmitter and receiver 4 and 2. The controller 7 subtracts the needle value of the previous inspection time of the meter from the read value and displays the present usage amount on a display unit 5.
