PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission system which enables dynamic image display, even when an image is framed on a monitor. SOLUTION: In this image transmission system, a master station 50 equipped with a controller 5 and a monitor 6 and a plurality of slave stations 10, each being equipped with a camera are connected by one channel transmission path. The master station 50 specifies a slave station 10, to which image data to be displayed on the monitor 6 next is sent and sends a control signal for notifying a state that the image data is displayed on the monitor 6 to the specified slave station 10. In response to this signal, the specified slave station 10 successively sends image data for switch display and image data for framing.
