The present invention provides polynucleotides and secreted proteins encoded by the polynucleotides. The proteins include a variety of fusion proteins, including fusions comprising a signal peptide selected from the group consisting of signal peptides shown in SEQ ID NO:M, wherein M is an even integer from 2 to 122, operably linked to a second polypeptide. The invention further provides therapeutic and diagnostic methods utilizing the polynucleotides, polypeptides, and antagonists of the polypeptides.
