<p>A communication device under control of an exchange communication device can make a telephone call by using telephone directory data registered in the exchange communication device but not registered in the telephone directory in the communication device. When a signal representing use of telephone directory data is inputted from a telephone directory processing recognizing section (1c) to a terminal control section (1a), the terminal control section (1a) sends telephone directory data stored in an intra-terminal telephone directory storage section (1b) to an exchange communication device (2). A telephone directory comparing section (2d) compares the telephone directory data received from the communication device (1) with the telephone data stored in a telephone directory storage section (2b) in the exchange communication device and stores, in a transmission telephone directory storage section (2c), telephone directory data that is the part of the telephone directory data of the communication terminal (1) not corresponding to any part of the telephone directory data of the exchange communication device (2). A central control section (2a) transmits the telephone directory data stored in the transmission telephone directory storage section (2c) to the communication terminal (1). In such a way the communication terminal (1) can make a telephone call by effectively using the telephone directory data in the exchange communication device (2).</p> |
