<p>A novel compound of formula (1), i.e., 4,8-dodecadienedinitrile: (1) (wherein the wavy lines are each a cis or trans linkage); and a process for the production of 4,8-dodecadienedinitrile, characterized by reacting a 2-alkoxy-5,9-cyclododecadienone oxime or a 2-halogeno-5,9-cyclododecadienone oxime with formic acid and hydroxylamine.</p> |
